Your style reminds me a bit of forthrightly's work; it's in the way you've pegged Sesshoumaru.  I like this quite a bit and I hope you will continue soon.  I'll keep a look out.

Oh stop. This chapter is fine. I hate nessessarily slow chapters too but you cant get to the end if nothing happens and unfortunatley sometimes kinda boring stuff happens (or doesnt). But it was good.

I do not believe this chapter was crap. Rather, it was more like the line from A to B. You were just connecting the points, and while it can be unsatisfactory to write, it is necessary and integral to the plot.

I wanna see soma' that bow-chicka-wow-wow soon heh...

Love this story. (Though I had to go back and re-read some stuff as I lost track of this story... for which I am kicking my own ass.) Anyway, this story continues to offer surprise after surprise, and also fun new vocabulary words. All in all, this story FTW!!

Yet, I can understand why you didn't like this one much, but every story has it's 'filler chapters', they are annoying to write (but not to read, I assure you), but they are necessary to add some 'bones' to the story. It's like life, there are action and calmer moments when you can contemplate things and prepare yourself for events to come...

Every story usually has a chapter like this. I call them bridges. It's that lull between events that, though annoying to write, fleshes out the story and makes it feel a little more real. I don't think it's crap at all. Those reading get to digest things along with the main character. But I'm kinda slow, I had to get my dictionary out for one of the words *blush*, so maybe I'm the only one who needs these "bridges". I found no fault in your writing; it was smooth, expressive, and well done, as usual.

I enjoyed the "are we there yet" mentality of Kagome during their journey to Sesshoumaru's mysterious dwelling. At least they seem to be safe, if dusty. I wonder if he has a plan or if he will share what he thinks about the situation with Kagome? I am thinking he will just take command and tell her what they will be doing.

lol--it was not crap. I think there's always a point in a story where a certain chapter just doesn't want to be written. You pulled it off great though. I can see now that there's more action to come though....if Kouga decides to follow that is. Great update! ^.^
