Thanks so much for the review on Remnants of the Spider! I'm so glad you've enjoyed it up to this point. I put a lot of thought and work into it. I've been really trying not to rush things as I think I have in previous stories, and yes, there is quite a bit more story to go. I hope you will stick it out with me!

I'm glad you liked the chapter ! Good to hear it wasn't as dull and horrible as I thought it was (though after fighting with it for two weeks, I really don't think it was possible for me to be truly fond of it).

I did make a conscious decision, however to stay out of Sesshoumaru's head -- I know it's frustrating, but I wanted the reader to feel like they're in Kagome's shoes, in a sense, an that his motives are as mysterious to the audience as they are to her. Of course, she'll come to understand him better as they grow closer, and things will eventually be revealed.

I hope that makes sense.
