Hello Everyone!

My name is Marimay and I am 24 years old! I have been writing fanfiction since high school and I have taken many college courses to improve my writing. For those who have been with me since I posted my first two stories, I am forever grateful for the loyalty showed upon me. I am currently suffering from writers block so updates are slow and I cannot give specific dates for updates. I got married and moved across the county so I am trying to settle down into my new life with my husband as well as deal with being so far away from friends and family. Rest assured I am about to get my life together lol. Thank you to my fellow Dokuga lovers for showing my stories love!

Wow! Thank you for your review on Chapter 40 of Family Ties. I'm trying to play it by ear mostly, keeping in line with the canonical timeline after the Final Act in the manga and anime, with a little AU thrown in, so nods, Sesshy is very powerful, but in Family Ties he gets quite the shock of his life.

He's a Daddy.

I've tried to play him as not really knowing what to do, emotionally, or, instinctually. He's clinging to Rin because she's something familiar, but even she's changed too just like Kagome. Life has gone on without him as it would inside a human village.

Maybe Sesshy will get a break or too, a little light in the darkness, in the next few drabblets.

We'll see.

Thank you again for reviewing. It's really given me hope that I am portraying Sesshy in a way that we haven't seen in fanfiction just yet. XD!

Feedback from Marimay: Because this story is so different, it makes it that much more special to read. It portrays what any mother would do to the father that left her (Even when Sesshoumaru didn't know about it, that fact that he never came back.)al alone with a child. It is reasonable that she took solace in the arms of her previous lover. This is more of an outlook on reality and a real life situation. It gives me the feeling that this could be a real problem in reality and it makes this story so much more special to read so I encourage to keep up the great work!!
