Thank you for your review to "Come to Shore." I really do appreciate that you enjoyed reading my work. This was a labor of love for a dear dear friend of mine on Dokuga as well as my late aunt. And, I can't even begin to say thank you to everyone who took the time to read it and understand the depth of my story.

That said, I really need to fix the A/N and explain that I don't think I'll ever be able to properly write a sequel. One of my biggest regrets with "Come to Shore" is that I never had the courage to share the story with my late aunt when I based so much of Sesshomaru's resilience and Kagome's experience on her own. After her death, I found it really really hard to write anything like "Come to Shore" again, and I think I rather like leaving the story as is. In an odd way, it's my own tribute to my late aunt, and it's my way of remembering her.

Sorry for being maudlin. I really do appreciate that you enjoyed the work though!
