Rise Cycle Reflect Wax Tide Pale Moon

Rise

Kagome stood beside the dishes from last night wondering how she could have accepted today’s task with such ease. “It wasn’t her fault” she thought looking at Sesshomaru reading the paper, a smirk in his face ever since she entered the kitchen, he was just so deliciously hot.

Sesshomaru had to be firm. The Alpha could never go back to his word could he? Yes, even if that was his greatest desire.

Kagome acknowledge her circumstances and brought together breakfast ingredients. And just as she was about to rise and get the pancakes Sesshomaru’s hand delivered them to the table.

Cycle

Kagome giggle as she dried the dishes he cleaned. Round, around she dried them good, only to feel something was going poof. “Sesshomaru?”, where could he be?

“I am right here.” He said from the room.

Kagome went in worried by the tone he used.

“It’s about time.” she could see his eyes filled with sadness as her face was stroke with fear.

She fell into his arms, and he dropped the sword to embrace her.

“You will go back to me. I am sure of it.” Anger lightly grew in her heart and eyes. “The cycle has to end.”

Reflect

“Now don’t be like that.” He said pulling her face and giving her a kiss that melted away her rage, and infuse her with a love only shadowed by the sorrow filling her lungs as his presence vanished like the presence of all others 20 years ago.

She breathed out the last of the mist that once composed Sesshomaru’s body, now diffused into the atmosphere. She picked up the undressed sword, Tensega and the powerless tool that reflected her misery.

As the sun set she could see the light from the shrine calling. Time is ruthless and now even missed.

WAX

It took Kagome 2 hours to reach the shrine. She knew her family was unaware of the light that shone out of the scar from Tree of Ages. Where once a sacred arrow lay, now the demonic energy was spieling out, only to be stopped by Tensega the last part of Tetsusaiga which imprisoned this evil inside.

When she arrived by the tree, the energy spread out like a web and a turmoil of evil consumed the Tree of Ages as a black wax dropped from its leafs. The scar shone bright light, brighter than the sun.

“Tensega, be mine.”

TIDE

Her family was away. Kagome was afraid all she could do was trust in the Tensega, and that she could infuse it with enough of her energy to defeat that trapted in the tree. Sesshomaru had survived this long, to consume the sword and his life together to give her a tool and some hope.

Determination filled her heart and she pulled out a crossbow and a bag of bolts as she jumped a few feet away and the branches bended in her direction, spitting wax followed by a tide of evil energy as none she had ever felt before.

PALE

“Ahh!” she screamed as a drop of wax fell on her hand, burned her skin and consumed part of her power. She quickly prepared a bolt and fired to the branches. But the sacred bolt did not penetrate all the way through. And she had to run into the house.

Nothing had changed. She pulled out the Tensega held it in her hands and her power left her body as a rush of demonic energy stabbed her in the back.

A whirlpool of nothingness surrounded her until all she could see was her face pale and dead on the ground.

Moon

“What is this? What’s going on? Is that me? I feel cold, I am scared. GOD somebody hear me??!!!!!”

The branches from the Tree of Ages moved out liked snakes from under Kagome’s body and picked up the sword.

“No! Don’t touch me!”

Tensega was pulled back through Kagome’s guts and back, and the hole the branches had made across the wall.

“What’s happening?” Kagome was confused, her body was left lifeless bleeding the kitchen she had been raised in.

The branches took Tensega and hid it where the moon would not see it.

So dark. Help me… please help…
