A/N: FL MADE ME DO IT!!!!!!!!! Blame her! Oh, and yeah - I don't own Inu-Yasha characters of DragonBallZ characters.
Why, every time, did he have to crash land ? It was a tiresome way to travel, and it was annoying to have to climb out of the damn craters that the impact made. He'd well been adjusted to the impact of crash landing over and over and over - why didn't the people who made these damn pods make a landing mechanism, god dammit?! - but when the pod actually broke upon impact… well… it was going well for him right now.
Especially since he'd landed on the biggest storage of weapons he'd ever seen, which caused massive explosions and pain. Lots of pain…
So, wrenching himself out of the wreckage of his own pod and into the fires of the weapons storage, he managed to get himself on his feet amidst the destruction. He was injured - holy crap, was that a shuriken in his arm? - and bleeding rather badly. Could he, Vegeta, really be taken down by a crash landing?! The situation annoyed him, elevating his anger. But, for now, he knew he had to get out of this mess before someone showed up.
Pushing away a rather large looking missile, inscribed with the name "Fall-chan," - Who the hell is Fall-chan? - he yanked the shuriken out of his arm and stumbled away from the crash site. And as if on cue, the site erupted in the flames of an explosion, the shockwaves sending him flying.
Damn. Today just was not his day.
There was a sharp pain to the back of his head then, as he did an imitation of a belly-flop on the ground. And then, all around him, more shuriken came to impale themselves in the ground. Had a bag of shuriken broken?
Oh crap. Did he have a shuriken in the back of his head?
The darkness was the answer.
~*~*~*~
The explosion had gotten her out of bed, jolting her to a sitting position with a groan. The sound was much to similar to a nuke - Fall-chan's nuke.
So, with a grumble at the cold draft that chilled her, Kagome crawled out of bed and threw a pair of jeans on, pulling a shirt and a sweater over her head. Sesshomaru had already woken and left the bed for the day, much to her dismay, but she could only hope he wasn't off torturing InuYasha. Or Elenna. That would mean she'd have to yell at him, again. But she tried to push the thoughts to the back of her mind as she peeked out her window, trying to spot the building that Fall-chan and Naraku had so conveniently put right next to her house. And, as she suspected, she found it was no longer there. Just fire in its place, with weapons scattered every which way.
She sighed. How long would this clean up take? She could only hope that no one got hurt this time.
Grabbing her first aid kit, as a precaution, she began her way out of the house. And in mid-dial to call her father-in-law, she saw the man on the ground, shurikens impaled into his body. In a mere moment she was on the ground next to him, cellphone call long forgotten, her first aid kit open in front of her.
"Oh dear…" she muttered under her breath, carefully beginning to remove the weapons from his body, one hand ready with bandages to cover up the wounds once the weapon was sufficiently removed. The bandaging wasn't the best, but for now, it could serve.
But it didn't take long to see the extent of his injuries, and her hand was back on her cellphone, her fingers quickly dialing in the wanted number.
"Hello?" the voice answered on the other end of the line, smooth and deep.
"Fall-chan's weapon storage blew up," Kagome began, tucking the phone between her ear and shoulder so she had use of both hands as she tended to the explosion victim, "And someone got caught up in it. I don't have enough supplies to treat him on my own."
There was a chuckle from the other, although Kagome could find nothing amusing in the situation, "Who was the poor fellow?"
Kagome's eyebrows creased together, as she tilted the man's head to look at him.
"I don't know," she muttered, "I don't recognize him. But he's mortal… I think."
"Hm. Do you wish for my assistance?"
"That would be great, Papa."
"Alright. I will be there as soon as I'm… er, finished with what's going on here."
Kagome smirked, "Tell FL I said hello."
"Hello!" the call came from the background of the other end of the line, FL no doubt in a close enough proximity to hear her voice.
"I will see you soon, Kagome."
"Thank you!"
The line died, and she tossed her phone to the side. She'd nearly removed all of the shurikens from the man before her, and his wounds weren't bleeding too badly beneath their bandages. And just as she'd bandaged the last of his injuries, he began to stir beneath her.
Quickly, she shuffled away, waiting for his reaction as he began to twitch and groan incoherently.
This was bound to be interesting.
